新潟県南魚沼市で織られる
盛夏用の高級絹織物。

麻織物「越後上布」の技術を
絹に応用して生まれた
日本の夏の知恵が詰まった着物です。

風が抜けるような軽やかさ。

透け感の美しさと
職人の繊細な手仕事が宿る織りは

woven with nuanced touches of yellow that seem to flicker with movement.

Natsu Shiozawa is a luxurious summer silk textile
woven in Minamiuonuma, Niigata.

Created by adapting the techniques of Echigo Jofu — a traditional hemp weaving craft —
into silk,
it embodies the wisdom of dressing beautifully through the Japanese summer.

Its distinctive crisp texture comes from
strongly twisted silk yarns.

Lightweight and breathable,
it keeps the fabric from clinging to the skin,
allowing air to pass through with ease.

The subtle transparency
and the refined craftsmanship woven into every detail
make it especially beautiful in the heat of summer.
